Edward A.Aniapam – President, CEO
Edward Aniapam received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1984 from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. He is currently the President/CEO and founder of Jabez recovery Management Services, Inc. He was the Program Director for Project Helping Hands, an innovative community-based program for assisting the homeless in Detroit. Before Project Helping Hands, Mr. Aniapam was the Administrative Services Manager for the Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion’s Bureau of Substance Abuse prevention, Treatment and Recovery where he was responsible for managing the Detroit Substance Abuse Advisory Council, serving as licensing consultant for substance abuse prevention and treatment providers, and as consultant for certification and training. Prior to this he worked as treatment supervisor for the Detroit Rescue Mission/Christian Guidance Center in Highland Park. He has served as liaison between the center and the Michigan Department of Corrections and as Intake Orientation Counselor, his responsibilities included assessment of clients for substance abuse treatment, Counseling, and supervision for 75 Michigan Department of corrections clients. Mr. Aniapam is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals (MCBAP).
