My name is Teresa Pearson-Townson and I was born September 17, 1956 to the late Edgar and Johnnie Mae Pearson. I am the fourth of nine siblings of my parents. As a single parent, I have three children and proud grandmother of seven grandchildren. In June of 2012, my eldest granddaughter graduated from Chipewa Valley High School. Through the years, I realized the importance of education and training as I struggled to raise my children alone. Later years, I met and married my loving husband Harold Townson in 1999, whom I met while being employed with Detroit Public School System.
I worked hard and earned my education while in the Detroit Public School and has not stop adding to my educational credentials. I first received my Personal Care Assistant Certificate in 2001, MORC training in Macomb County. I further my education to obtain my certificate as a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional from the Board of Education and a host of other achievements along the way..
As a professional, I have always strive to practice great ethics, as well as a sense of empathy, passion, hope, peace, love, kindness and gratitude in my daily routine. I never pass up an opportunity to help out any person in need. Whether it be personal or professional I an the one to call on.
